The thing no one tells you about heartbreak is how the ache spreads. How it makes it's way to the tips of your fingers and soles of your feet. How it creeps up on you when it just might be getting better and literally seizes you with all that it's got. Then it develops into a pervasive soreness in the pit of your stomach and eventually crawls back up to where it all started. And it starts all over again.
I really don't know why they call it heartbreak when it feels like almost every other part of my body is broken too.
