new favorite drink on the block
behind zouk's lychee martini and long island iced teas from sos
it's time to add yoghurt flavored shoju
from some korean place called ahp jung something
it's yakult with a kick
not like a kick-where-it-hurts kick, but like a gentle kick in the knees so you can't walk straight but you don't fall in your face kinda kick
a good kinda kick
i thought thursday would be a crappy day
i mean, three midterm papers consecutively?
it just doesn't get crappier than that.
but english was okay,
hospitality was okay,
psychology was okay.
so, it was generally very okay
dinner at osaka (some place in henderson. which is like, an entirely different city)
with tingting helen mayumi and tomo
pretty cool stuff, cos tomo's roomate was the sushi chef
food is always good.
drinks later to celebrate mayumi's breakup at that tiny korean place
played more cards
needless to say, after seven cups of shoju i was a little loopy
fell asleep on the table and i didn't even know
brian came on down a little later
and so apparently they hadn't had enough
vons for beer and (v. yummy) smirnoff wine coolers
off to brian's room for more.
the girls totally collapsed on brian's bed whilst brian and tomo did something very universal (well, in an asian sense).
- they played winning eleven.
soccer is such a great asian love
headed back to my room at about 4:30 but the rest stayed for about an hour more
and i would like to request a round of applause pls
just because i still managed to get up at 8 for class
out for karaoke on friday night
i love karaoke and red bean soup with the really good rice ball thingys
but not tang yuan though its like, filling-less
tea planet for food bubble tea and more more more cards
all in all enjoyable stuff.

the week thus far has been pretty good.

am beyond excited about my sister coming up to visit this weekend
we're gonna catch josh groban @ mandalay bay on saturday night
probably go shopping all day and drive around aimlessly
and am truly, truly, truly stoked about visiting my BFF on sunday (!!)
