boring description of my not-so-boring day ahead
just got back from wynn a bit ago
we had play-days!
play-days are these two days, right before the hotel officially opens (on the 28th) for the employees to go there and look-see before the real big opening.
like, omg.
way too cool.
my three volunteering sessions in the ugly yellow orientation t-shirt?
so entirely worth it.
so so so they give you this orientation package thingy
with a damn cool tag with your name printed on it
and $1000 in fake money.
HAHA. like monopoly money, but wynn money.
very, very fetch.
so we're supposed to walk around and spend our fake money in F&B outlets.
we were all like, OH LET ME TREAT YOU PLS. I'M ROLLING ROLLIN ROLLIN' IN THE DOUGH.
well we all ended up going there with a thousand, leaving with a thousand.
but all the meals were free!
so,
we're now planning to use that as game money when we play cards.
HAHA.
headed there with tingting helen mayumi and tomo
basically the same fun we have all the time,
eating talking more eating more talking
(salmon! caesars salad! mushroom barley soup! shrimp cocktails!)
we see each other like every day at the caf anyway.
BUT what an atmosphere at wynn
divine.
then dessert at sugar & ice,
their confectionary place.
BUT.
no chocolate icecream (!!)
that's just wrong man,
that's just seriosly wrong.
it is the absolute coolest thing to be a hotel major in this town.

steve wynn's got his name on every damn thing in his hotel
even the silverware has his name carved on it.
seriously man, wow dee wow doo wow.
blah blah blah.
we were such tourists.
but such happy ones indeed.
