lucky charm

i know there's something in the wake of your smile

i often come online with the intention of blogging
but get inevaitably distracted by other unimportant things,
and then i completely forget why i even came online in the first place.

first degree ADD.

less than a week, (six days)
and its back to too-sunny vegas.

anyway.
here's what's been going on the past two weeks.
(it might take a while)

so on the first day of getting my spanking new camera
we realised (gasp) we could take a series of continuous shots
hurray!

goody gumdrops!

that wore thin after awhile though
not to mention the amount of work getting these collages done.
enough of this i tell you, enough...
__

so being the explorers that we are..
we also ventured to a part of singapore neither of us had ever been to before
..........
tampines.

hour long bus rides,
accomanied with lychee hichew and trusty old chang kee

got off the bus to a bit of a butt ache
we needed a treat; bubble tea
and a good dose of laughs at water cheatnuts.

i know, right?!

(P.S what's happening to far east? a very depressing green mist of doom)

also,
good meals with good friends

followed by games of mahjong and bridge

and the return of VR man

of course,
gotham on a crowded monday night.

marnkie pants,
no love with the heels and washboard abs.

looking dwarvish (and baaadd, may i add)
next to all these waifish characters. zzzzzz....

has national day really come and gone?
the weather that day was supremely glorious

off for a leisurely lunch, and grocery shopping too

let the cooking begin!

airplanes!

pretended like we were 'yishun',
and did the singapore wave along with the people at the parade.
what can i say, we like to feel involved.

so the next day,
still hooked on cooking, and reeling from the success of our beehoon experiment
on came the fried rice experiment

tadah!
a surprisingly yummy dish! yum!

headed out to catch bewitched
(awful, awful, awful)

but had to rush back for the last episode of the 9oclock show
yijie, you'll be missed

cousin caleb's a month old!
although all babies look the same to me, he's quite the cutie

a little more, a little later.
