school on friday really was a complete drr-ag;

but headed to (albeit getting lost) bahama breeze for lunch

good pasta, great drinks, gargantuan cheesecakes
also went to the international market to stock up on groceries
and you know me,
ever patriotic,

(okay so haribo isn't singaporean, but it has a very homely feel to it.... even though it's german)
mm, went to chinatown too
more stocking up on groceries, although it was mostly helen and tingting fretting over what ingredients we needed for dinner
i mostly stood there, checking every box of biscuits for a 'made in singapore' sign
back to helen's where we cooked up a storm!
or rather, tingting cooked up a storm.
again, i stood there, drinking grass jelly twiddling my thumbs. twiddling my hands.
just.. twiddling.
i helped stir quite a bit though

dishes of the night included:
- mapo tofu
- french beans with hot sauce
- eggs with radish
- seafood with garlic chilli
__
after dinner activities included:
- mahjong (!!!)

(my feeble attempt at shi san yao. Thrills!)
so it was three straight hours of that,
before four straight hours of this:

i still don't see what's quite so fantastic about monopoly
mildly entertaining, no doubt
but.... who doesn't love mahjong!
zzz. but it was okay cos' all seven of us got to play instead of taking turns for mahjong. so..
yay Team Effort?

my phone bill for september is the impressive amount of:

(click)
i know, right?!!
my sister the Meek and Mild actually called me to (semi) yell, and sent me an email chock full of exclamation marks. think.. 15 exclamations.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh gosh darn the babushka.
but yet!
in other more fabulous news,
i just splurged on this:

juicy royalty sweats
although i am beyond stoked for it to arrive
i really need to start making money (!!)
