i kind of make them every year, but they never end up materializing
leaving me to feel in some ways (ugh) disappointed
thinking i've kind of wasted the year as such, seeing how all the resolutions didn't come through
this year,
i wish everyone i know and love (and in the spirit of the 12 days of christmas, the people i don't like so much, too) - good health - that's the most important. also plenty of laughter, joy, happiness and peace. and contentment y'all, we all need more of that.
okay lah, i also resolve to frugalize and stop being miss calamity jane herself.
here's to a fabulous 06 y'all

methinks i had quite the brillzo new years eve celebration
it was a comfy barbeque in the cool serangoon gardens air, with herlin's trademark to-die-for wingers. cluedo with the radio in the background, and a very abrupt FIVE! FOUR! THR.. countdown. incredible bear hugs, hilarity, and way too much adulation in the air. and ice cream! let's not forget ice cream, please.
it was a new year's eve when we were truly complete
all six of us, y'all!
what in the world... all that.... normalcy

with the new year's eve i had, it's got to be a good, warm 2006; surrounded by the people that matter, the people that make a difference, the people that make my world a better place.

the first few days of 2006 have been generally wholesome, ordinary, but altogether very enjoyable
the day after saw us,
with homecooked food,
and the riveting replay of manoo vs. bolton
and long delayed visits to relativeswith quite the torrential downpour
