So the new MI dropped today
i'm really not your typical action-flick watching kind of girl,
and i never thought i'd catch MI3 especially after all the mental stuff tom cruise has been doing with katie kate holmes but whaddya know... i'm a bona fide victim of peer pressure and they got me to sacrifice my all-important sleep to watch it.

Besides, my main drive for actually watching it was her:

After all the crappy movies i've been putting myself through lately, this one did fairly well in my books. anything after Scary movie 4 is practically considered an epic. Kept me riveted from start to end but i'm not proficient in the language of action flicks so i can't quite compare it to anything. but even with all the press that tom cruise is getting for all his scientologist dizzle, he was.. dare i say it - rather badass in this installment and Jonathan rhys meyers is quite the sight for sore eyes.

Plus,
i liked how when the credits at the front of the film were rolling, the 5 of us did a minor w00t w00t cheer for Maggie Q. when she came onto the screen being her smouldering self in that killer red dress i swear i heard audible gasps. when JJ Abrams' name rolled onto the screen, there was another smattering of catcalls and cheers. do i hear some Lost fans in the las vegas area?
