It's pretty much been meetups and idle mush.
disappointing failed meetings but well made up for by pleasant surprises & extended pop-bys :]
Night out with the girls,
Ikea on a day filled with cloudjuice.. and in a surprise move, we skipped the meatballs!

7 hours of exploration and endless food at our favorite haunt, even after closing time (cue semisonic song) with a few of my very favoritestest people.
I don't know how they do it, but they tolerate my incessant babble and my stupidity so for that alone.... mad props.
oh. and we lo-ove chippy's. they (chippy's and the crazy lot) get 3 big bulging bloody hearts. ♥ ♥ ♥

Family time:
After an early morning shopping spree at tekka market the day before, we were armed with hundreds in groceries and were ready to rumble.
The next morning saw ungodly waking hours to make ahma's famous delish angkukueh, take careful notes on the meticulous preparation of popiah chye, pluck taogays, dye 20 eggs bright strawberry red, peel popiah skins, and the like.
also, shopping with my sister and the ravenous crowd in town.
Jie's 28th birthday soiree.
when i say soiree, i really mean popiah party with enough food to feed a third-world country plus the requisite awkward small talk with family which i managed to dodge quite a bit of by being a very unfriendly hermit. however, copious chunks of lana cake and beginner's poker managed to eventually coax me from my little haven..
