the grey goose got the girl feeling loose

We h8 airports.

__

My last wednesday out at zouk was a hot mess.
Hot, in the most sweltering, literal way. Mess.. as in.. yeh. A real mess but
Enjoyable company nevertheless, and hilarious drunken antics are always a welcome sight

__

And so the foodventures begin!
As usual we've been gallavanting around.. fulfilling our tastebuds and the bottomless pits that are our stomachs.

Indonesian grill at AMK

A casual dinner at soup restaurant with sammikins and j.
Tentative plans that all came to naught.. which by the end of the night was a-okay with me. Seeing how i collapsed on my bed for a good 8 hours before seeing daylight again.

And and and my first taste of a ramly burger!
B. and i took a road trip to the malayan railway station.. Apparently they sell em' at pasar malams all over the place too but this one proved to be the most popular (Or so google says)

__
Another first.. liquid room.
At least we got to catch a last glimpse of it and enjoy a night before it bids us farewell in a week. As always.. Big up to clifford and jianhui for everything especially cupfuls of greentea and orange juice. NEAT, Y'ALL!

Liquid room.

SA MEGA TRAVEL SALE.
To say that it sucked horseshit would be putting it nicely. The people we worked with were friendly and optimistic, and that was a plus. But the people we were serving for all of 12 hours.. Hot damn.
I never fail to be utterly appalled when veneers are stripped, manners are but a formality and raw human nature comes through.
Nevertheless, an experience to be well remembered.

YEAH, MATCHING OUTFITS!

J's farewell a little later,
And i can't be more sorry that i really was nothing more than a lingering spirit... much of it sucked out during the long day at the travel fair.

I went nuts over these biscuits at mike's house... and he brought me to the land of charming cookie cheer.
A quaint, old fashioned store that looks straight out of 1990.
So much so that i felt the entire store looked almost sepia.

Like this.
IT JUST GELS, DOESN'T IT?
I think they've every type of biscuit i've eaten from when my age was still in the single digits.

--

We've also been to west coast in search of his favorite mee sua..
Only to be met with this.

We settled for mediocre beehoon goreng and sliced fish soup..
and 2 collosal cups of ebony and ivory (chinchow and soya bean)

__

Okay.. so just 2 more days to go and the foodventures are going to have to come to an unwelcome end.

Which is why i am going to try to spend every waking moment eating.
(p.s. in an unxpeced rash move, i now have black hair)
