I have this one theory, see.

By taking photos with your face in various states of contortion, it's somewhat okay, acceptable and practically excusable that you look like a total asshat in said photo.
Because then that would actually be the point.
Visually challenged.. it was the intended look of choice anyway, right?

If by some fluke the photo ends up being mildly positive, then haaay, bonus!
Thus explains the fact that I can barely find recent photos where I'm smiling normally at the camera. Nor can i find many where i'm actually even looking at the camera.
I realize normality has become very uncomfortable these days.
Feature contortion + Avoidance of eyecontact: Preferred.

This one goes in the same file as my old 'expectations' theory.
