And so it was.
Everyone was surprisingly obedient and followed the rules (almost) to a t!
Other than the fact that jerry h. made it.... AN HOUR LATE - but what's new right.
On the menu!
*takes deep breath*
jane's ham & enoki rolls/ minced meat with pineapple/ broiled chicken wings, ting's soup with a lot of i don't know what, chen's fried chicken from ay-chungs/ beverages, my hainanese chicken, jerry's japanese curry, shan's lychee/ longan konyaku jelly and yushan's fruit tart cake thingy from summerlin.

We spent a lot of the night in stitches at Jerry's expense stupidity humor.
His extremely childish antics and constant tauting of max (dx's dog) made for incredibly hilarious entertainment and 2 priceless videos.
Typical scene:
- Jerry, tempts max by flaunting and parading his food in front of max
- J: "you want this you want this riiiiiiight?"
- Proceeds to dangle said food item in front of max's face
- And then swoops it back into his mouth.
- And swallows it.
- "hahahah you can't have iiiiiiit!!!"
- Max hovers dangerously near Jerry's crotch
- Jerry shrieks in fear.
- REPEAT MULTIPLE TIMES.
I worry for his (and frankly, our) sanity sometimes.

So that was our CNY.. no red packets, no new year goodies, no yeo's packet drinks (but i did have vitasoy's chrysanthemum tea?), no yu sang, no tangerines - But our CNY was cozy and intimate in it's own way. Yay yay to a great rat year aheadddddd
