Right before school started a coupla weeks ago, we celebrated chen's birthday!
By dressing up, eating faaar too much at top of the world and by ordering and devouring every dessert item on the menu. Why hello there ol' tiramisu dipped in (very potent) marsala and espresso flavored crème brûlée ma'm yes ma'm*

Whilst the restaurant rotated, we lost our way back from the restrooms more than a couple of times. We ate, made faces on plates with lemon slices & rosemary sprigs (jerry this one's all you) and became totally in awe of our very.. 'pleasured' server. Mm hmm.

So we went to the (roof?) and basked in our city's crazy lights. Or at least froze like hell with the help of some not-so-enjoyable wind in our hair. We gladly did the touristy thing - made our rounds round the observation deck, bought commemorative pennies (ikr), and posed constantly for photos. Though I think our smiles might have just been frozen stiff on our faces half the time.

So it was all round an extremely enjoyable night.
We celebrated, chen tolerated (our obsessive camera-toting ways) and the night was over before we knew. But not before some sneakysneaky paparazzi shots to end off our night ;]
