love makes it a delight

Given my erratic sleeping schedule lately, I guess it certainly is about time that I come down with a full fledged flu. Had such a turbulent night/ (ok i mean morning) of sleep and I woke up with the works: Muscleaches, @$#@*& a sore throat, dry coughing, tightness in my chest and the requisite runny + blocked nose combination.

So here I am, out of commission and putting together a blog post. Ahhhh the tech times.

CHRISTMAS 2008

We flew down to San Diego for Christmas for some HQ QT with jie, alex and brycey. Didn't do all that much the first couple of days.. Battled the crowds at Fashion Valley, had Korean food, hotpot at home, too much yogurtworld and oh! Jie & i caught a modern dance performance at the vine that Dora performed in.

12/24: Lunch at El Prado

Dinner at Boathouse

Headed home for the best part of the night.. We sang, we (they) danced, we made merry, we called home and we took a barrage of silly photos. The steady stream of Frank, Dean, Andy, Ella and Johnny singing old Christmas carols all night was comforting - and made for some good GUESS WHO SANG THIS questions. Our lack of pop culture knowledge is astounding.
Me: OOH HE'S *****
Alex: AND AND he had his own tv show! As a famous Dad!
(after the answer came to light)
Mom: HE'S AS WHITE AS CAN BE. AND YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT BILL COSBY - NOT BING CROSBY. AIYO YOU ALL AHH!!!!
Whoops.

Mom says hi.

We left on Christmas Day (and our flight was very unceremoniously delayed by two hours), but not before lunch at Humphrey's and last minute moments with B.

G'morning B!

The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:
The presence of a family all wrapped up in each other.
