After announcing my arrival into the land of the free, we proceeded to discuss the weather. Of course.

Me: "Jie the weather in LA is really really nice! It's warm!"
Sister Dearest: "Well that's California... It's 0 degrees celsius in Dallas."

For now I'm going to enjoy being in the west coast sun and push the thought of wintry desolation far far far away. At least for the next 3 hours. Until I have to brave it head on.
