but it;s better if you do

tagged earlier by wynji, here's my contribution to the meme

name five of life's simple pleasures that you like most, then pick five people to do the same. try to be original and creative and not use things that someone else has already used:

(1) i don't know how to explain this. but it's like, it's sunny outside, right? and then there are no plans for the day, so it's free and easy. it's brunch time, and then you smell home-cooked food. or hawker food. singaporean food. whatevs, it's just that unidentifiable feeling.. where its the right time, right place, right weather. and oh, right food. it's just that feeling of seeing the sun, tasting the food, and being very joyous. there's got to be some kind of chemical reaction there

(2) having my laundry do itself (also known as thank you ahma) and devouring home-cooked meals but only by the master herself (ditto).. back at home.

(3) lana cake

(4) basking in early morning sunshine in an air-conditioned room. or early springtime when it's 75 degrees out but incredibly sunny. early morning sunshine in general.. it's all good y'all, all good

(5) being in the same area code as babs, in general. or better yet, waking up knowing he's right there. right there! man, wouldn't it be nice!

tag: huis, sah, vernie, paupau, char

i realise i like the sun very much but only when i'm not in it.

(only the) second school week of fall finally over
and i'm so inexplicably tuckered out by the end of the day that driving home becomes quite the chore. no after-school special for me

nothing particularly special, life is moving along as per normal
chen's huge-mungous birthday lunch, home-cooked meals with friends, and a comfortable yesterday where it was shopping and mee 'the egg exploded' rubus/ the oc/ project 'zulema-sucks' runway love with sah and stanley the manly. singapore boleh! .. i hope i'm saying that right.

either way folks, there really is nothing exciting happening here at your friendly neighborhood satirist.blogspot.com

still breathing, not quite kicking, but surviving as a very average college student.
(impoverished, not doing laundry, and eating too much instant food. now how's that for fitting a stereotype)
